Amazon.com Customer Review
5.0
out of 5 stars Very
Useful!, March 20, 2009
"Just out of college, I was looking for my first job. I had the
vague idea that publishing might be a good fit for me. I didn't have much
success finding entry-level publishing jobs on jobster, monster, or any
other job search website.
At some point I came across your book, and I used it as a guide. I read
through all the entries and narrowed it down to the places I was most
interested in. Then I did some research on the companies and looked on
their websites for job postings. If I didn't find any jobs listed, I sent
letters of interest. After awhile I got an internship, then I worked my
way up to a full-time job. I'm confident that my search would have been
much more difficult without A Guide to
Chicago Book Publishers. Thank you for publishing such a useful
book."
